Day Log 5-15-09

• The morning was taken up with annoying, non-research tasks: making doctor & dental appointments, replying to emails, and meeting with Reagan re: funding proposals, in absentia, etc. Sometimes this happens to a morning.
• Finished Kukla’s A Wilderness So Immense. So — it takes me four days to finish a good-sized book, reading thoroughly, while doing other things.
• Did about 2 1/2 hours in the Gallatin Papers microfilms, reading & photocopying things (reel 9, mostly, covering 1804).
